2012 Pictorial Directory

A new pictorial directory will be coming this year!  Olan Mills will be calling those members that have not set up an appointment for a photo session.  You may call Olan Mills at 1-800-866-2263 to make arrangments. Our contract #59439.

If you have any questions or have a photo to submit because you are not available during any of the photo session times, please contact bregner@flcstp.org

Photo sessions will be held February 27-March 3 & March 8-10.  Hours are 2:00-9:30 p.m. weekdays and 9:30-5:00 p.m. Saturdays.

Ash Wednesday Worship

 Ash Wednesday worship at FLC is at 7:00 p.m.  The worship service will include imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.

Spaghetti Supper will be served 6:00-6:45 p.m.  $4/meal contribution is suggested.  Please RSVP to bregner@flcstp.org to help with our food prep.

Kristin Ruud from Shetek Lutheran Ministries will be hanging out with any young people interested in some fun conversation and games.  Find out what is planned with SLM for the summer of 2012!  Kristin will be in the Youth Room from 5:00 p.m. on so come whenever you can and stay for supper and worship.

New Sunday Schedule Begins February 26th

 With construction almost complete, we are planning begin a new Sunday morning schedule to begin on February 26th:

• 8:30 a.m. Worship
• 9:30 a.m. Fellowship
• 9:45 a.m. Education Time (including First Forum and Sunday School)
• 10:30 a.m. Story, Song & Sacrament Worship

Kwik Trip Scrip Card Program

When you fill up your vehicle with gas or stop for a gallon of milk on your way home, you can help give our youth an experience of a lifetime!

“Huh?!”, you say? Well, here’s the deal: We have just kicked off a fundraising program that will benefit the Children, Youth and Family Ministries here at FLC. Purchase a Kwik Trip Gift Card from our youth and we (FLC) receive 10% of the face value. The proceeds from sales through December 2011 will help reduce the cost of the trip to the 2012 ELCA National Youth Gathering in New Orleans. Gift cards can be used for anything at any Kwik Trip in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa (and there are a lot of them to choose from!).

Gift cards can be purchased from individual youth as well as the office of Nancy Altmann and Barb Regner.  Cards are available in denominations of $20, $50, & $100. Purchase as many as you’d like and please, come back for more instead of reloading the card at the store.

This will be an on-going program for the Children, Youth and Family Ministries of FLC. Proceeds from sales during specific periods of time will benefit various programs.
