Membership

Members of Congregation Council shall be appointed by the president or congregational council to serve as members of the Technology Committee. Committee membership shall be ratified by the Congregation Council annually. The Technology committee may convene such sub-committees as will enable them to fulfill their tasks. 

Committee members shall:
  • demonstrate a commitment to Christ and the local congregation;
  • communicate in a caring way
  • be passionate about technology, information security and privacy

Charge

The Technology Committee is responsible for 
  • monitoring FLC technology resources
  • oversee security and privacy policy, procedures and concerns
  • manage FLC Technology budget
  • reviewing and recommending updates and changes to FLC Technology
  • holding regular conversations with staff to determine needs
